About

Because I believe in community and in using reference pictures taken by real people (not AI) who are passionate about their subjects, I am an active participant on Reddit and numerous flower-specific subreddits. I came across a stunning picture in r/peonies, taken by u/jbellafi, and asked them if I could paint it; they happily agreed. I posted pictures of the final piece in that subreddit and thanked the user for letting me use their original image.
